How do I prepare my child for a shoot?

Its important to come prepared for a shoot with Pitter Patter for best results. Below are some guidelines on how to make the most of the shoot and enjoy it too!

1. For your child: Wear something light (like cotton) and with strong colours eg pink, blue, yellow etc... try to avoid floral designs or stripes or prints as it will be distracting on the picture. We want him/ her face to stand out. Bring a hat (or as many cute ones as you can!). We can get many cute and unique shots with it. Also, his/her favourite toy, eg teddy bear, doll etc...

2. For the parents (we usually include parents in the shoot!) - A light coloured top/shirt/ polo/ dress. Avoid dark colours such as black or dark blue. Also avoid tops with logos such as PUMA, ADIDAS etc...

3. Its going to be hot. So bring some water to drink, and perhaps sunblock, towel to wipe your sweat.

4. Most of all, HAVE FUN! The shoot is meant to capture your joy and love between you and your child. Have a blast, lay on the grass, run, jump, hug.

Tip : bring all the above in a huge bag. Don't carry the bits and pieces separately as we will be moving to different locations for the shoot.

PS: You are probrably wondering why I don't provide the props and such. Its because Pitter Patter shots captures special moments that are unique to you and your child. Example: you daughter's teddy bear might have sentimental memories. One provided by Pitter Patter might be shared with a gazillion babies!
